Biography
Maureen Walton is a versatile educator, performer and collaborative pianist. She takes a practical approach in her music classes focusing on student support and success. In her role as the music department pianist, Professor Walton is able to understand and help performers with issues such as performance anxiety having been a solo performer herself. As a singer, Professor Walton has a sensitive ear to what is needed to help young singers be at their best. Finally, Professor Walton is a responsive, experienced and knowledgeable ensemble accompanist.
